No More Missed Opportunities: Live In Each Moment

Are you struggling to get things done? Are you constantly procrastinating? Do you find yourself avoiding doing things even when those things are to your benefit? Are you making your situation worse by skipping out on completing activities, going to events, or sending emails?

I know what that’s like. I have been there. I’ve been in a place where I didn’t send the email. I didn’t go to the event. I didn’t share my thoughts in a meeting. I didn’t give my opinion to someone who I thought really needed it.

I’ve held back in this way, and it slowed me down.

I came up with a solution to help me move past that, and when I implemented it, my life journey accelerated. I had more joy overall. I was more present with my family. My career started taking off even more.

We have the opportunity to live in each moment as if we are either dying or living.

Ultimately, in every single moment, it’s a choice of how we approach it.

Are we showing up like we’re dying, dragging ourselves through each task and each meeting, giving our bare minimum?

Or are we showing up like we’re living, doing things joyfully and giving our best?

We have the opportunity to live each moment as if we are either dying or living.

Optimism is a choice.

I’m an optimist. I see the glass half full. You can look at me and think, “Of course, it’s easy for you to be optimistic. You have your career, your family, and everything…” But that wasn’t always the case. I think an argument can be made that my optimism has fueled my life.

I have the things I have and I’m fulfilled and thriving because I’m optimistic, not the other way around.

It’s something I’ve had to choose daily until it actually became a habit.

I grew up on welfare, not a lot of money around, which meant not a lot of stuff and sometimes a lot of struggle. I was also bullied. Every day, I had to choose whether to let everything bring me down or to find opportunities.

I chose to find the good and the opportunities. That has helped me to live a more fulfilling life.

It has helped me thrive and to get to a certain place in my career, with my family, and in my life.

Take a moment to reinvest in you so thLife’s greatest treasures unfold when you show up with the intent to truly live, turning every moment into a masterpiece of joy and fulfillment.at you can be your best self for everyone who needs you.

Choose to show up like you’re LIVING.

“What got you here won’t get you there.” You need a shift in mindset or perspective to get something different out of your life.

This idea of spending each moment like I’m living has made a huge difference. It accelerated my journey to having all the things that I want in my relationships, in my career, and at home with my kids, in the way that I mother.

I decide in each and every moment to show up like I am living.

When I do that, my life gets a lot better.

It’s not easy, but it’s a choice that, over time, becomes easier and starts to become a habit.

When you show up like you’re living, more opportunities come your way.

When you show up like you’re living, you are more excited about life.

When you show up like you’re living, you make better decisions about where to spend and where NOT to spend your time and energy.

When you show up like you’re living, you get more out of life.

It’s that simple and also that hard, so I’m going to give you one tactical step on how to do this.

Optimism is the spark that ignites the engine of my life’s journey.

Make It Easy To Make That Choice

“I choose to live in this moment.”

Write it on a Post-it and keep it in your purse, your planner, your fridge, your nightstand, or your bathroom mirror. You can also put this quote as your computer and phone wallpaper.

Put it up somewhere you can always see it, so you can constantly remind yourself, “I am here, I am alive, and I am choosing to approach each moment full of life. I am choosing living over dying.”

It’s just a much better way to approach each day, and the world is going to give you a lot more for it.
