The Step That Makes A Big Difference When You’re Goal Setting

January is usually goal season, but for working moms, any season can be goal season.

Our priorities shift and our ambitions could change anytime, so I want to talk to you about achieving your goals and ensuring your success.

After years of working with women who want something but can’t seem to achieve it – can’t seem to take action on their goals…

Understand your why to have the motivation that will keep you going.

The biggest issue that I see is that they forgot their why.

Why do you want your goal? Why do you want to achieve it?

Why do you wanna lose weight? Why do you wanna get that promotion? Why do you want to spend more time with your spouse? Why do you want to spend more time with your kids?

What is your why?

If you’re not clear about your WHYs, you’re going to get bored in ACHIEVING YOUR GOAL.

To have the motivation that will keep you going way past that point of goal-setting high that you get when you first set a goal, you need to define and remember the reason that will fuel you. This step makes the difference in your commitment to your goals.

So think about your goal and answer this question: Why do you want it?

What are you gonna get out of achieving the goal? What’s in it for you?

If you’re not clear on that, you’re likely going to get bored and lose motivation to do the work required.

So go ahead and write down your why now and keep them where you can always be reminded of them.
