Clarity, Relief, and Permission: How Olivia Steele Found Freedom in the 7 D’s of Delegation

Hey mama,

Let me tell you about Olivia Steele: Co-founder and Co-CEO of JADEVA, a thriving global community of women blending spirituality and business. She’s also a mom, a leader, a dream-chaser… and a juggler of all the things.

She reached out after reading The 7 D’s of Delegation from my book The Savvy Working Mom, and her words were powerful, raw, and real:

“I feel like I’m a jester tossing up balls all the time and praying to God they don’t fall on my face.”

If that doesn’t speak directly to the heart of every working mom, I don’t know what does.

The Weight We Carry

Like so many of us, Olivia was wrestling with the heavy stuff:
💭 Mental overload
😔 Guilt about not being with her daughter 24/7
📊 Pressure to lead her business with power and purpose

She was doing all the things for all the people… but it was costing her peace, energy, and clarity.

“And I run this for women to feel safe and build sisterhood… it’s truly a juggling act.”

Spoiler alert: juggling is exhausting. Especially when you’re doing it alone.

One Book. Three Words That Changed Everything.

Then Olivia picked up The 7 D’s of Delegation, and everything started to shift.

She devoured it in just a few days and walked away with three words:

➡️ Clarity – Knowing what actually matters
➡️ Relief – Letting go of the impossible standards
➡️ Permission – To stop doing it all alone

“It showed me that I’m not failing. I’m just genuinely trying to do way too much alone.”

Yes, Olivia. Yes to all of that.

It’s Not Just Encouragement. It’s a Game Plan

Let’s be real, people love to tell us to “ask for help” or “do less,” but they rarely show us how. That’s why I wrote this book.

In her words:

“The way you broke it down in the 7 D’s of Delegation just began to shift my mindset.”

The 7 D’s give you practical, repeatable tools to delegate at home, at work, and even emotionally, so you can finally reclaim your time and breathe again.

Small Shifts = Big Freedom

One of my favorite parts of Olivia’s story? She made a tiny, powerful shift:

“Something as simple and logical as letting my partner take our daughter to school. I dropped that control. And it changed everything.”

You don’t have to overhaul your life overnight. But one small release, one “D”, can open the door to freedom.

Start and think about these in each area of your life:

  1. Where do you want to SHINE?
  2. What do you need to MANAGE?
  3. What can you SURRENDER so you can better focus your energy?
